Dear colleagues,

as you may know, our organization is involved in an eContentplus project called Organic.Edunet (http://www.organic-edunet.eu) that is working on methods and technologies for facilitating the education of organic and ecological agriculture topics. Our initiative has been running actively for the past three years, and is now reaching a point where it aims to sparkle and facilitate the dialogue around the challenges that organic, ecological and environmental education faces today, as well as around the ways in which Information Technologies (IT) can support and enhance it.

To this end, it is my pleasure and honour to invite you to participate in a relevant scientific event that will take place during September 16th and 17th 2010 in Budapest, Hungary: the European Conference on “IT-Enhanced Organic, Agro-Ecological, and Environmental Education”. More specifically, we would like to invite you to organize a session with presentations around issues of interest for your CIARD initiative, where you can invite experts that are working on relevant areas (e.g. from your initiative or other related efforts that we could jointly identify) to contribute/present. We would be happy to include/accommodate in the program any foreseen session between 45’ and 90’, also giving you and your initiative free space to promote your project (e.g. by also presenting a poster in the designated poster session).

We really believe that this can be an opportunity for our initiatives to join forces with many other groups working on relevant topics around Europe and the world, in order to discuss about the real challenges in this field, and how current organizational, pedagogical, and technical solutions may address them.

Thus, we really hope that you will honour us with your participation, helping us to raise promote the dialogue over the topics of interest, as well as shape an agenda for future work and collaborations.

We would really appreciate it if you could send us an initial expression of interest for organizing a session around some issue/topic of interest, the soonest possible and no later than ***Monday April 12th*** (simply by replying to this e-mail).
